Hey! I'm back. This cold is finally moving into retreat, I hope, and so my sanity is returning along with my creativity. Though it's still slow going with how thick the crud in my head is. We'll see how fast I get more of this going

He looks wretched in this episode, though my own state while rewatching may have influenced things. The conflict he had between meeting the Director's demands and still holding up his end of Gibbs' work had to have been horrific. And this is just the begining. Add in really falling for Jeanne and it's just going to get nasty.
Still loving this verse, and can I just say awwwww poor Tony and poor Gibbs :o( but I'll offer my help and take either one of them home for some TLC....or both?????
Glad your feeling better, cause that means we get more wolfy stories :oD
Awww, Tony :(. I'm glad Gibbs is doing what he can to look out for Tony, but can certainly see how his 'out-of-the-loop-ness' is making what he can do very limited. There isn't really any way Tony could take more than a few days off without having to think of something to tell the team. even if he said he was ill, some or all of them would turn up to check on him, so he's kinda stuck there.
I'm also glad Gibbs is now regreting not asking for more details before telling Tony to do what the director wanted. What's that saying abot stable doors and bolted horses? ;)
He could admit he's on a super secret mission and go to full time undercover, but the team would want to be read in and the director doesn't want that. It's really Jenny who's putting Tony into the situation.
Gibbs is going to regret a lot more before the end, but he is definitely regretting this one. at the time he was trying to be supportive of what his second did while he was gone, instead of thinking it through. Woops. That is exactly the right saying.

Only if you're willing to share. I'd love to offer a little TLC myself.
Right, more wolfy stories coming soon ... when I get my muse back. Don't suppose you've got any good tricks for recapturing muses?

Mine is still out there, she's just dancing out of reach and taunting me rather than being helpful.
