Prevail

My first piece for the prompt table I posted HERE. Check it out. I'm still accepting suggestions.

The prompt from gelsey was Prevail to be written in the world of my character Chester.

Oh wow! The grief was positively tangible and heart-breaking! And the deep bond between Chester and Richard was so very real.

“But you know what it's like to be a genius child in a world that doesn't understand.”

That line has me very curious, and I would be very excited to learn more about this cast of characters!

Is this completely original? Or does it play into any type of fandom?

This is completely mine. Something that might, if I ever sort out the plot beyond the characters, turn into a book.

The first piece ever is here, something I wrote ... twoish years ago. It explains the genius comment. There are also some random drabbles from my writing-game days if you hunt through my writing.

I'm really glad you like it. I do keep meaning to do more with this lot. I love the characters. It's the plot I keep having issues with.

I loved this. Squee! Chester! Grin. I love the dynamics between the two here.

Me too. Someday I have to do a piece with Chester, Richard, and Alison. lots and lots and lots of sexual tension oozing, and them ignoring it. That's gonna take practice.

*hugs Chester*

Very well done dear, you made the emotions jump off the screen and make amok in my head :)

Thank you, darling. I do try. These are some of my most real characters. They appeared almost fully formed. The problem is the plot. Ah, someday.

Awww... *huggles Chester*

At least Richard is there for him.

Love this little world of yours. :-)

I've got bits of the funeral on my computer somewhere. Poor Chester. Richard has always been there for him.

Thank you. I'm rather fond of it too.
