Back home after a lovely trip

Before Christmas, Jeff asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday this year.  (Usually, he is skiing during that week, but this year he had planned on coming home in time to spend the day with me.  And then the weather decided to help that along by not providing any snow for skiing on, anyway!)  I decided that I wanted to visit Hearst Castle
