Eeee!!! The Stargate Atlantis Big Bang Challenge, 2009, (aka SGA Big Bang) has at long last gone live!! There are a ton of big, thick, juicy stories there to really sink your fanteeth into, and huge, heaping side-dishes of art (liberally seasoned with videos!)--and...well, and now I'm quite hungry (thank you, O Metaphory Brain)...but also:

Hunny, I really love those and with my new screen I was able to do enjoy the banner much better than I would have been able only two days ago ;) LOVE it!!!!! (both screen and art!)

And I really do love your art for the story too! How did you do the city thing??
Oh and trust me...we'll always challenge ourselves with things that may seem too difficult at times but how are we to hone our skills if we only ever do the same old thing?? :D

So: A cheery YAY for my dear Trish for finishing, for the wonderful outcome, for having her back for the Yadas and the SGA Rewatch and just a general muffin shower! :D

Thanks so much, Yeo!! Congrats on the new screen--it's good to know that people are actually seeing some of the extra width that I put into the banner design. Hm...maybe I'll have my Liz look up the site on her laptop--it's gotta have a wider screen res than our desktop does! I'd love to see it for myself ( ... )

Oh, I love the blueprint format/splashpage/banner thingy. Very nifty and professional (and makes me think of this video.

Wow, you're not kidding--what a match! I love the restyled opening, but it's almost eerie the way the vidder used so many of the same images that I did!

Glad you like the site art--"nifty" is definitely what I was going for, and "professional" is far beyond my expectations (though I suspect that a lot of the credit for professionalism goes to lauralaitaine, who coded the site so beautifully)!
