Standing under the hot spray of my shower revealed to me (through the ensuing pain, of course) that I managed to sunburn (through my job of teaching tennis to little kids) not only the backs of my knees but also my scalp

:( I have no idea, besides the fact that I was wearing a short tennis skirt and standing in the sun for two hours. Now I believe them when they say that sun rays are curved. :-/

I'd like to meet this TP fan- she seems to have good taste. ;-) And I'd like to thank her for nominating you. I wanted to do it but annoyingly had already nominated a fic in the same category. (Well, I wasn't annoyed that I'd nominated the other fic, just annoyed that I could only nominate one per category.)

And bad luck about the sunburn. :( I got really badly burnt last summer in streaks- up the sides of my legs, down my side, and right across my back where my bra strap lies because my bikini top had shifted and that small strip of skin hadn't been sun-creamed. It wasn't nice. So I sympathise with you. *hugs*

Aww, that's sweet, Gem, and no worries. Which other fic did you nominate? They're all good; I'm honored to be compared to them. What are the rules exactly concerning nominations? Can I nominate a fic in the same category I've been nominated in?

Glad that I'm not the only one who gets sunburned. ;) Last week I managed to also burn myself in the outline of a racerback top and regular bra, so I have white stripes on my back. :P

What are the rules exactly concerning nominations? Can I nominate a fic in the same category I've been nominated in? Urm... I'm not sure about that one actually. I think you can't nominate two in one category, or two by the same author, and you can't judge a category that you've been nominated in or have nominated in. But anyways, I think the nominating is over now.

I really need to read Wicked.
