(I'm without internet for a few days starting tomorrow, so I thought I'd pop another chapter up before I left. It's a bit shorter, but hopefully it'll tide you over!)

Emily sees the list (I did NOT see that coming), gets all the confirmation she needs, and WASTES NO TIME making her move. She really is a lusty button (TM Rophy) and I love her for it!

And Naomi, I think you'd better revise number 4 on your list to "figure out how to make Katie accept that our friendship doesn't have to suffer just because Emily and I like (or more than like) one another", because you'll just wind up resenting Katie forever if you give her veto power over THIS.

I think it would be fun if Naomi were to enlist Cook's help with securing Katie's acceptance (however grudging) of Naomily. I'll be very interested to see what sort of strategy you have Naomi (and Emily) formulate!

P.S. For purposes of a future PDF, I noticed one typo -- in the phrase "her hand’s are on Naomi’s face", "hands" shouldn't have that apostrophe. /pedantry :-)

Lol, Emily is rather direct in her approach, isn't she? That's how she rolls, clearly.

Oh, god, dealing with number four involves countless shenanigans. Seriously, I get light-headed just thinking about it. Naomi has a massive up-hill before her.

I think it would be fun if Naomi were to enlist Cook's help with securing Katie's acceptance Hmmmm...*arches brow, tries to look innocent* Lol, I'm quite predictable when it comes to Naomi&Cook interaction, aren't I?

I realise what a big word perfect was in my last review but I have to say after reading this chapter I have zero regrets about using it. Your writing excites me and moves me and frustrates me and it's all in a completely positive way. I love the way you write Naomi, I find her really relatable and I think you really capture the confusion as well as the lusting and wanting and there is that balance of what she wants and what is holding her back. I like the strength of Emily but how that strength isn't overbearing or jarring with the character, to be honest I think you write Emily a lot better than she was written in series 4. You sent my heart on a proper journey with this chapter and I was right on edge just feeling and having such a clear vision of what you were writing. Emily spotting the note was genius and the kissing well that was just an amazing passion filled explosion. Big big yay to this chapter, you do not disappoint in the slightest.

Oh Emily... always the one making the first move eh? :)
Didn't expect all of this... not Emily seeing the list (OMG!!!), nor them finally expressing their attraction!
Now I'm feeling this is going to be a big mess, I don't think Naomi is capable of handling the situation right... I really really hope I'm wrong, or maybe not 'cause I just love drama so much! Now I'm curious to see if the morning after is going to be as heartbreaking as it was on Skins... I vote for a yes :P

And how sweet is Katie telling Naomi that she's not going to leave her even if she's with Cook?? Awww Naomi please take notes, you're going to need this!

And I officially have my new OTP: Effy/text messages! LOL

Wow, I just stumbled across this fic and read all chapters in one go and I really, really like it! Very interesting angle with Naomi being best friends with Katie first. I hope there will be more soon!
