SO, when I exchanged my laptop for a working one, they messed up on the specs and instead of 1gig RAM I only got 512MB. Lauren? Not happy. So today I finally got off my arse and emailed the poor guy, who I have been bombarding with OMGTHISISNTWORKINGHELPMEOUTHERE emails for the past MONTH. I just have NO IDEA what could be making it do it! Because everything is fully charged! It's just---weird. But it's not too awful a problem. Just irritating. Because I can't put the computer on hibernate or standby without it doing that when I turn it back on, so I ALWAYS have to shut down. *grumbles*

All of my options are already set to 'never' - which is why I was so confused!!! Computers just suck so much sometimes.

ERIC MABIUS IA A HOTASS. The end.

Maybe something is hitting that little button that makes the computer go into standby? It's a laptop, right? So behind the keyboard, right where the edges around the screen would hit, theres a tiny little plastic stick that gets pushed in when you close your computer, if it's on, it goes into standby mode. Sorry if you knew that already and I just rambled. But yeah, I used to accidentally touch it and make my laptop go into standby, then I'd have to wait and close the computer, open it again, and move the mouse around for about 5 minutes before it would load up again and it drove me NUTS.
