One down, two more to go

So I have to just write this.  I know many people may not have watched Downton yet but in regards to this spoiler (which almost everyone knows now):

One down, two to go )

I think it would suck for poor Mary to have a sex scene with TWO DICKS! Maybe it'll be a sex scene with another couple? Perhaps Robert and um the new maid? (*evil sneer*)

Yea, I think after Pamuk they would be a little wary giving Mary a scene with another man she didn't love.

I do worry about Robert and that maid. I had read a spoiler about that. And now I see they are making Cora cold and stand offish around him. Because that always makes it A-Ok for him to cheat now, Mr. British Society

Do you think at least Lavinia is gone for good?

I don't think Lavinia's gone. The press pack implied she'd still be around at the end of the war... I don't know...

I HOPE the sex scene isn't Robert/maid. I thought that spoiler only said "tempted". I SO WANT IT TO BE M/M.

It does seem to easy to get rid of her.

I really don't want Robert to cheat. It's why I've been especially hard on his menopausal moods.

My heart is all over the place at the moment. Oh my.

Ok, I also was AMAZED by just how much they referred to Matthew's junk. REALLY. The phrase "sexual reflexes"!! OMG, Matthew saying "we can't be properly married", and when Lavinia told Mary... AHHHH. Though I have to say, I'm really glad we saw those moments - OH MATTHEW. BLESS HIM.

But you're right, and I've talked a lot to eolivet about it, even my mother agrees - WHY make it such an issue (they talked about it FAR more than his mobility!!), if it isn't going to be 'resolved'? REALLY.

Oh, man, that episode. MY HEART. FINALLY, some M/L, but IT KILLED ME. AND HE IMAGINED MARY IN FRONT OF DOWNTON. AND GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH.

SO MANY FEELINGS.

Poor Matthew. Between Doctor Clarkson blabbing to Robert (doctor/patient confidentiality must not mean a thing if he's a possible earl) and then Lavinia telling all to Mary not realizing she would be just as devastated too. You know Robert will tell Cora.

While I HATED the thought of Matthew being impotent, (too close to Sun Also Rises), they have certainly made it a concern for everyone. We must get over this hump (hee).

And I also agree, finally some M/L. While I didn't care for her, I thought it so unfair for Mary to be speaking to Carlisle without Matthew having proper scenes with his fiancee.

AND THE DREAM. I LOVED THE DREAM. YAY!!!

I haven't see episode 5 yet :( But if Lavinia is credited throughout the series, I guess she'll show up later. Which means only one thing: that she's after Matthew!?

Did you see E5 yet? I saw Tumblr folks saying that M/M were over?!!!

How would they show the sex scene though? :O

It practically writes itself doesn't it?

She's helping him get into bed. I do have to say I've had a lot of reservations of Mary having sex again without being married but with Matthew in this condition, I can see her letting it happen, in fact wanting it to happen.

What does bother me is they call it a sex scene. Not a love scene. But maybe they were afraid saying it that way would make it more obvious.

Maybe they used the colloquial term. Love scene seems too proper and antiquarian these days ;)

But sex scene gets more attention from press. Though knowing Downton Ethel's moment was it.
