After waiting in vain for Agito to respond, Belphegor decided enough was enough, and left the mansion for his fandom (but not before grabbing a few select things). Once there, he wasted no time heading over to their apartment.
"Eyepatch," he snapped at the intercom, more than a little irritated. He hadn't had a very entertaining week- he'd had to live with Fran, that pathetic excuse of a human being- and the way he was being treated now was doing nothing to elevate his mood. It hadn't been his fault, so why was Eyepatch making such a big fuss over it?
Bel's nickname for him screeched over the intercom, making Agito quickly put his game on pause. The fucker had come all the way out here? He glanced over at the front of the apartment, considering. After much internal debate, some of which was with Akito, he finally stood and headed over.
"What the fuck do you want?" he snapped right back at the intercom, and waited.
"Excuse me? Did I ask you to come out here? Why the fuck do you think I went offline? So I wouldn't have to deal with someone who had nothing to say but not my fault." He folded both arms over his chest. "If that's the only reason you came, you can turn right the fuck back around." Honestly.
That stung. More than Belphegor would ever admit. When he answered, his voice was low, barely able to contain his frustration. "Of course that's not the only reason, dumbass. Squalo was kind enough to remind me of what I missed last week." Shark Week had always been something of a holiday amongst the Varia- at least as far as their Rain Guardian was concerned. "I considered making it up to you, but if you're just going to carry on like this, I'll take my generosity back home." (That was an empty threat, but Agito didn't need to know.)
