Nightmare plotting take two is go!

Is this icon attention grabbing enough?

Alright, so! On my last post I said I'd give more information on those nightmares I suggested putting other characters through, right? :D; If everyone that was interested could drop in and take a peek, I've outlined a few need-to-know basics for you! I'm sorry about the wait!

What will my character be having nightmares about?

Now this is something that depends on your character, since the nightmares will be playing on whatever issues they carry with them. As he was made to be the dark mirror of humanity, it's Cori's job to show someone who and what they really are. To bring up all those fun little denials and insecurities you would otherwise pretend never existed, picking your mind apart little by little every night. And the dreams can get quite vivid, maybe being clear as a memory even after waking. And for the especially stubborn characters that just flat out refuse to accept and really see what's being shown to them, they might, for some reason, find themselves waking up with this niggling little fear of something going right for their eyes.

Taking Edgeworth as an example: One of his biggest regrets is the fact that over the course of his prosecuting career, he's gotten a number of innocent people sent to prison, and even to death row; one of which he knows for certain was killed. Many of his nightmares have centered around repeating those very trials, knowing the outcomes and being unable to change them. Or even being on trial himself, hearing all his own crimes laid out by those he's put away in the past, and sometimes even by Phoenix.

So get creative! Lay out some scenarios you think Cori would put your character through! And if you have no ideas, give me some important bits of history and I can help you think up some things from there~ :>

Will they know their dreams are being screwed with?

This is entirely up to you guys! Cori will, of course, be commenting around to anyone who starts posting to whine talk about their recent dreams in order to better offer his ~*advice*~, and it's perfectly possible that your character could have caught him in his natural form while dreaming and can recognize him, however vaguely. Or maybe they'll never figure it out for as long as they have the nightmares. It's all player preference~

How long are these going to last, though?

Typically, these nightmares could last for a very, very long time, since the only way to truly stop them is to come to terms with the issues and regrets that they play on. And even then, it's more than likely that the character will still have the occasional relapse. But how long they continue for is entirely up to you! Hell, given The Sandman's canon tendency of bouncing all across the known multiverse anyway, you could even assume they've been going on for a while before even joining the comm if you wanted, and only recently started cranking the trauma up to eleven.

The list of characters having nightmares is as follows! Which is entirely for my own use since I'm lame and forgetful.
