Off to a very good start. I wonder though how Eddie will be able to help Nick with this one since the mall would be full of red. Christmas must be hard for Blutbads. St.Valentine's too for that matter.

This looks like it's shaping up to be a very interesting fic, can't wait for chapter 2!

Also, I love what you did with Stan A. Acluse's name. Verrrrrrrry crafty. ;)

It's been a while since I've written casefic but we'll see how it goes--next part should be up tomorrow sometime!

Hee! You're the first person to remark on that...

Thanks for reading! ♥

Ooh, vaguely creepy and sinister undertone to happy trappings of a commercial holiday? ;> Very curious to see how this plays out, especially Eddie because, okay, he's hands down my favourite.

Very good job, as well with making the characters seem real, and fleshing out the supporting people. It can be tricky, and I've gotten used to overlooking it, but it's refreshing to be able to sink into a defined world \o/

I love Christmas murders--and Eddie is just so magnificent. I love writing him!

I have a weird habit of taking minor characters and really trying to bring them out, rather than concentrating on only the main ones, but I'm glad that it worked for you! ♥ Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the rest!
