4 day weekend!

I saw two very different movies (Spiderman 3, The Namesake), went to one intimate backyard concert (Calvert & Mims), had dinner with a long lost relative of Jeff's, ran the Run For the Rovers 5K (and placed!), and went window shopping at the Domain with my mom.  Those are the high points, anyway.

Was The Namesake good? I've wanted to see that for a long time, ever since I read a pre-review of it a few months ago. I doubt it will be on much longer, so I ought to get to getting.

I loved The Namesake. It was very deep - I keep mulling it over in my mind and the more I think about it the more I really liked this movie. It's about the Indian culture, but I think the feelings are similar in any ethnic group struggling to pass down to their children their cultural identity and assimilate at the same time. I bet it won't be around much longer. Go! Go now!
