Dr. Kilbride - http://www.abjortho.com/

I liked him, but don't really know enough about him to recommend him or not for a second opinion. He definitely was used to working with athletes, and he didn't immediately push surgery, but he wasn't opposed to it either. So.. he worked out well for me (and obviously mine ended well), but I hate making recommendations when it's something that's so important and so varying according to circumstances.

I DID feel like he listened to me, though.

I hope you can figure out a solution to your pain! I.. well.. I feel your pain. I mean, I did.

I can highly recommend Dr. Scott Welsh, who I've seen for both my shoulder and hip injuries. He knows sports medicine, and is very patient, willing to let me blather conjecture at him. :)

Yuck! I hate doctors that don't appear to be paying attention. Definitely get a 2nd opinion! I don't have any recommendations because I've yet to hurt my shoulder, but I hope you find someone that will sit down and listen!

i have heard good things about AB&J (i used to do the books for them and have met all of the doctors - dr malone went to harvard i believe and is a very sharp no nonsense guy). also aaron went to dr dehart at texas orthopedics for his knee. great doctor but bad accounting office - got to stay on top of them.
