I know what you mean. There are days where it's wonderful just to stay home and lounge in my pjs. There are days when going home means my life gets more complicated just because people want to see me (and I want to see them too!) and it's really stressful. Coming home to "Ron and me only land" is often refreshing. But there are days between visits where I feel really lonely. At least you have a lot of places to walk to! I don't really have the luxury up here. :(
It's always taken me a few years in a new place to settle in and find my social stride. I know that seems long when you're feeling lonely. I'm sorry we've been inward-focused lately and not so social/schedulable. Hopefully that won't last. We should bring you along to a Sunday potluck some time, even if Alyx has to work. *Hugs*
