So I finished the dress.  Super happy with how it turned out.

But when I last posted, I had finished the embroidery (which is more like couching)..

I cut around the design, ironed the vliesofix on, then peeled off the backing - no mean feat considering I had sewed through the layers.

Then I ironed it on to the skirt panel and bodice.

It was delicious. They couldn't do dairy and gluten free, so I ordered a salmon, asparagus and caper salad off the menu. nom nom nom!
