Some things I am doing.

I spent much of last week and weekend running around, playing with Mrs. Beans' brother's dog, Odin (he's a Jackaranian, and a total ham) and getting my little sister all graduated from college. I also, bizarrely, went on some cleaning kicks of the apartment, tidying up my room (which is looking more and more bare, which is good) and the apartment ( Read more... )

I'll probably have to check out Once Upon a Time and/or Grimm at some point, but I'm not in any hurry. I'm still behind on actual Fables, so that would probably be time better spent. Also, I should get the last season of Chuck on DVD--never got to see more than the first episode because Hulu inexplicably stopped posting new episodes. Jerks.

Lisa says Grimm is kinda sucky. Specifically, she says the lead guy sucks and the rest of the people are better. But, yeah, I should catch up on Fables instead of shows, I realize.

Aw, you never finished Chuck either? Sadness!

Bangkok is so freaking hot that we usually take a break in the late afternoon--come back to the hotel and cool off before heading out to dinner. I've been watching TV in that period (LAW AND ORDER IS EVERYWHERE), but the same channel kept advertising Grimm, and I have to say: those are some really intriguing adverts.

They also advertise Being Human, though, which looks stupendously awful and I have no idea how you watch it.

Being Human is stupendously awful. Like, it's bad enough that it's emo and the characterization varies from week to week. But there are plot points that flat-out make me hate characters. I got through the first season and a lot of the second by mostly ignoring it. But I won't bother with it after that.

Grimm, according to Lisa, is fine except for the lead guy. Which can be a problem, but Once Upon a Time has that issue, too, and I manage.
