More questionable costume ideas

Here's Catwoman, ladies and gents. Is it terrible? No, it's not, and it's certainly not as awful as the LizardSuperman suit from yesterday. Is it recognizably Catwoman? Also no.

Look, is it really so hard to get Michelle Pfeiffer into some PVC these days? Because I bet you that at 50-something, she'd still rock it hard, and I wouldn't be so confused ( Read more... )

If not for the official casting announcements, I'd look at that photo and guess she was Batgirl.

Without a recognizable costume either way, there's no reason not to think that.

Even better thought: Hathaway in PVC.

Well, I guess some people think the cute thing is sexy, so I can't fault you for it, though she does nothing for me. And it's sacrilege as far as Catwomen after whom to lust, far as I'm concerned. In my mind, if you're not crushing on the Catladies from the 1960s show (all of whom were fun and gorgeous and sexy, even silly as the costume was) or Michelle Pfeiffer, you're wasting masturbatory energy.

QFT.
I always have the same reactions to Anne Hathaway and Scarlett Johansen:

1) They need to eat many sammiches.
2) They can't act.
3) Dear lord someone feed them, PLEASE.

Are you SURE that is supposed to be Catwoman? She looks like Random Chick in skintight outfit. There is nothing at all to indicate she is a comic book character, much less a specific one.

Michelle Pfeiffer reprising her role as Catwoman would be fabulous.

Favorite 60s Catwoman moment: When Eartha Kitt catwoman deciphers a code. It is written backwards, and in French. So she has her minions fetch a mirror and a French-English dictionary.

Somebody recently pointed out that the edges of the goggles are pointed in such a way that they would resemble cat ears once she places them on her forehead.

I think that's gotta be intentional, and it would be so very Nolan for the ears to be embedded into her outfit in such a "practical" way. I was trying to figure out why the goggles were so strangely angular, anyway, when the iconic version of the modern suit has them rounded. I think this has to be the answer.
