Haaaaate.

It took me thirty minutes on the phone, being transferred five times (no exaggeration, five times), to find out that HP so helpfully sent us exactly one half of a power cord for our scanner. Now, forgive me, but nobody said anything about the power brick (which they call "an adapter") being sold separately from the cord that plugs into the wall. ( Read more... )

The Ghost Rider one cracked my shit up. Rob Liefeld's Cable is just...cracked. I mean, I've seen Liefeld's Captain America, and I thought that was bad, but Cable has HOOVES. WTF, Liefeld?

ARGH, I tried to link to that page in my last comment, but LJ swallowed the post and I was too lazy to go back. But yes, I love that post.

Ooh, somehow, I just knew you'd absolutely loathe the idea of VAMPIRE COWBOY (how could I forget cowboy!?) Karl Urban in a movie.

I promise to make up to you some of these trips down into the city, but, the way I see it, I'm helping you keep your New Year's resolution by scheduling these things. You'll be in the city MORE than once a month!

Excellent.

I was rather bummed about being not really rebuffed from but definitely not enthusiastically entreated to join someone else in this crazy adventure to see Vampire Cowboy Karl Urban. I'm glad that there are those among my real friends willing to go with me.

In other words, it's a date!
