TV talks TV (No, that's not a Transformers: the Movie reference, but it could be)

Another year of new television is upon us. I actually made a fucking schedule to keep up. Mostly, I had to. I'd been living with cable and ecmyers' DVR and now I have to be totally up on my shows myself without either. Everything is starting up again. I haven't even finished last year! I'm not even adding anything new yet! Sure, I want to check out Nikita ( Read more... )

This is the best day of my life! Thank you, Osama!

The lack of M&W series 2 on netflix is killing me.

You should stop by some time. I can hook you up with M&W! Perfectly legally!

Alas not. Friday is as yet unpromised to anyone, but Thursday I'm engaged.

Ooh, you've not been converted to a fan of That Mitchell and Webb Look? Well, we can fix that right now through the power of judicious linking!

This is the first sketch of theirs I saw and I had to watch the whole show at once because it was both true and hilarious.

Mr. Darcy says what we're all thinking!

Why homeopathic ER doctor shows would make better TV than they do medicine.

Numberwang, of course. The Numberwang skits are that rare breed of comedy sketch where they got funnier the more they did it.

Enjoy!

Argh! So much damned TV I want to watch! Looking forward to starting up the new season of Chuck next time I hang out with my viewing partner, which will probably be next weekend. Final season of Smallville, huh? Still only halfway through Season 2, myself, but I'm looking at picking it up again and making progress soon. I've only seen the first handful of eps from Season 1 of SPN, and a few from Season 3. I heard it got a little annoying recently, but that could just be a personal issue that person has with it.

HA! That clip is hilarious! I've seen a couple of very short teaser type ads for The Event, but nothing that caught my attention. This video reminded me of the mock infomercial ads for Eureka back in the day.

Hey, I can't recall for sure: was it you who told me that Dollhouse really gets good during Season 2? My friend and I finally started that up again and we've now got two episodes left in the series. And you were right (if it WAS you); it did get good. : )

Oh and I'm also looking forward to the new season of Human

I haven't seen season two of Dollhouse. It did get better throughout season one, but not so great that I was raring to go at season two. I'll finish it, certainly, but not in any hurry. Not when there's so much other TV to get through!

Ah, well Season 2 does get quite a bit better -- when things actually happen, Joss makes a pretty good show out of it.

Haha yeah, I feel your pain.
