Summary: Agreeing to a blind date in the middle of her heat cycle was not a smart move on Tsumeko’s part. Especially when her blind date is a private detective who talks just a little too much…
Within her family, Fujimori Tsumeko often felt like a bit of an odd duck. She had yet to find a mate of her own (although she was in no rush), while her seven siblings, even her youngest sister, Tsukiyomi, had all either gotten married, engaged, or were dating someone they considered special. It was a bit much to handle at times, but Tsumeko knew that in time, she would find her mate.
Although, truth be told, when her heat cycle rolled around, Tsumeko desperately needed a mate. Sometimes, going at it alone was simply not enough. In fact, she would have just settled for a one-night stand if it meant she didn’t have to resort to using other methods of relieving herself.
It was during just such a time that Tsukiyomi arranged to set Tsumeko up on a blind date. Tsukiyomi was dating a cute young man named Philip, a human Google who worked in a private detective agency and Philip happened to have a partner named Hidari Shotarou. Shotarou just happened to be single. Tsumeko just happened to need a date.
So, Tsukiyomi slyly gave Shotarou Tsumeko’s phone number.
When Tsumeko met Shotarou at an outdoor café, she was surprised to see a handsome young man in a purple and black suit with a tie and a black fedora on his head. He looked like a private detective from an old film, which fit with what little she’d gotten out of Tsukiyomi about Hidari Shotarou. She had to admit, that while he wasn’t her type, he was somewhat cute… and he smelled wonderful.
She inhaled sharply and fought to keep her urges in check. She had to admit that going out on this date during her heat cycle was probably not the best idea but she was desperate to get out of the house and even if the date went badly, she could still eat him up and leave his world rocked.
…And in the process guarantee that she never heard from him again.
Before she had a chance to go up and say hello to him, he spotted her, took off his hat and approached her slowly. “Hi…” He began, carefully. “Are you Fujimori Tsumeko? I’m… I’m Hidari Shotarou.” He bowed. “It’s nice to meet you.”
She blinked a few times and then bowed in response. “I am. It’s nice to meet you Shotarou-san. My little sister, Tsukiyomi didn’t tell me much about you… such as how cute you are.”
Shotarou looked Tsumeko up and down twice, eyes widening as he took her in. Tsumeko was about the same height as he, but leaner and she looked like she could kick some ass. She was wearing destructed skinny jeans, black boots and a rock band tee, her black and pink hair up in a messy updo. She looked like a rock star. “You look… amazing.”
“Why thank you…” Tsumeko replied with a smile. “So, shall we sit?” So far, he was okay. He wasn’t her type, but he seemed nice enough. She figured that a date with him wouldn’t be the worst thing ever.
…At least until she learned that he tended to talk just a little too much.
He reminded her of her brother in law, Masao, and the more the similarities showed, the more irritated she got. On the other hand, it was a relief to not have to worry about making conversation… especially when the thought of eating him up was making her mouth water.
After an hour of endless chatter, another half an hour of her meager attempts at small talk and then a 15-minute train ride to her apartment, Shotarou and Tsumeko were standing at her front door.
“I imagine that I wasn’t the best company…” Shotarou was being shy and to her it was somewhat endearing. “…I talked so much… I guess I went about it half-boiled as per usual… well… I think I’ll leave you here… thank you for…. WHOA!”
She would not listen to him run off at the mouth a second later and before he knew it, he was yanked up against her, their mouths pressed together in a heated, almost violent kiss.
“Shotarou… you’re really cute, but you talk WAY too much.” Tsumeko murmured, breathless, as she released him so she could unlock her door. “For the rest of the night, I don’t want to hear another thing out of you, unless it’s begging for more.”
Now he was really confused. “More what?” He got his answer three seconds later when she reached out from her doorway, grabbed his tie and yanked him inside her apartment before managing to get him on the couch.
She smiled at him, looking every bit the she wolf she was as she crawled on top of him. “Oh… you’ll see.”
When Shotarou stumbled into the detective agency two days later, Tsukiyomi and Philip were having tea and chatting.
“Shotarou!” Philip spotted him first. “How was your blind date? And where have you been for the past two days?”
Shotarou ignored him and looked right at Tsukiyomi. “Your sister is an animal… and while I think she left me on another planet, I do not think I’ll be seeing her again. Other than that, we had a lovely time… and I’m going to go collapse now.” With that, he stumbled right back out, leaving a confused couple behind.
“What was THAT all about?” Tsukiyomi asked.
