Summary: Wataru and Taiga’s love life has fallen into a rut, even though Wataru’s pregnant and more amorous than usual. Taiga decides to resort to desperate measures.

At four months, Kurenai Wataru figured he was about as far along in his pregnancy (which was six months as opposed to the “two years” female Fangire experienced and the nine months a human woman would typically go through) as a human woman was at six months. By now, he could feel his son moving around inside him, occasionally kicking and stirring and sometimes, when he closed his eyes, he could hear his son’s heart beating. It thrilled him. It also thrilled Wataru’s half-brother/lover, Nobori Taiga, the Fangire King. Taiga had been wondering how he could be expected to produce an heir without a Queen (even though he knew male Fangire could get pregnant; it was considered highly unusual for a KING to produce the next King or Queen in such a way) and then suddenly, his half-Fangire lover had become pregnant with their son. For Taiga, their lives together were almost perfect. They were closer than ever before, Maya was with them again, and after the birth of their son, who would be the next King, they would marry.
…there was just one tiny little hitch in their current lives: they hadn’t had sex since Wataru had discovered he was pregnant. It was starting to annoy Taiga. Convinced something was wrong, he’d taken Wataru to see many of the doctors Taiga had on his payroll to tend to Wataru’s unique needs and they’d all said he was fine, just pregnant and that the libido was a bit low due to Wataru’s hormones being thrown out of whack. Things didn’t improve and Taiga knew that Wataru was just as frustrated, but things had gotten so awkward, what with his stomach, Maya’s near constant presence to see if they were okay and those dammed D&P board meetings every day for a month…
So, Taiga being Taiga, he decided to take drastic action.
One warm morning, Wataru awoke to the sounds of someone humming a cheerful tune and the sound of glass and plates rattling. As he opened his eyes and managed to make himself sit up in bed, his jaw fell open.
Taiga was standing at the foot of their bed, wearing a pink nurse’s uniform, a matching cap and heels and holding a tray of breakfast. “Good morning, Kurenai-san!” Taiga said cheerfully, a big smile on his face. “I’m Nurse Nobori, sent here by your lover to take care of you.”
Wataru sputtered. “Nii-san, what are you doing? And what are you wearing?!”
“I’m here to take care of you, Kurenai-san!” Taiga was putting on his best “candy striper” routine. “We can’t have you overworking yourself while pregnant. It’s not good for the baby.”
“Seeing you like that is not good for me or the baby!” Wataru cried. Taiga looked incredibly cute in his pink nurse’s outfit. He’d even gotten rid of the leather glove he had to constantly wear to cover up the King symbol on his hand. “You know full well I can’t jump you right now?”
“Breakfast first!” Taiga said in a cheerful sing-song tone. “I intend to take full care of you today, Kurenai-san.” A pause, a smile and then Taiga spoke in his normal voice, a very familiar expression on his face… the sort that Wataru knew all too well. “…and when I say, I intend to take full care of you today, Wataru…I do mean in every way…and in every position we can manage.”
Wataru immediately got the feeling he’d need that breakfast this morning.
