Summary: How does the Fangire Royal Couple spend Valentine’s Day?
The sound of heels clicking against the floor was enough to rouse Wataru from his slumber on the throne and he smiled. Those heels meant that Mio was back.
The double doors opened slowly and a black clad figure entered, standing before him with the hood pulled down. “Wataru…”
“Mio…” he murmured, eyes slowly opening. “Welcome back.” The sight of her, dressed in an outfit fit for a Queen. It was simple, an all black coat and heels, her black hair pulled back. She gave him a smile.
“Wataru…guess what today is.” She said with a smile.
“I know what today is.” Wataru replied. “I also have something for you. Come.” He pulled out a box from Tiffany’s. “A beautiful gift for my beautiful Queen.”
Inside, Mio squealed and she came over to him, taking the Tiffany’s box from him and opening it up. Inside was a necklace of silver and black with a beautiful rose pendant. The rose pendant was made of deep red garnet stones and as Mio admired it, Wataru smiled. “Do you like it, Queen?”
“King… it’s gorgeous.”
“I had it custom made for you.” He got up from the chair and gently lifted it out of the box and placed it around her neck. “I wanted to give you a Valentine’s Day gift worthy of your beauty and I think I did.”
He turned her around to face the mirror on one side of the room and Mio’s heart melted as the necklace shone in the candlelight against her skin. “Oh, Wataru….” Even becoming King of the Fangire had not changed his heart.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Queen.” He murmured, kissing her shoulder. “It suits you well.”
Mio touched the rose around her neck gently before leaning back and turning to press a warm kiss his lips. “King…” She smirked, her fingers in his jacket. “We should… take this someplace private. I do have…something to show you.”
“What sort of something?” he asked.
“It’s a surprise.” Her eyes sparkled. “One I think you may like.”
At her smile, he was intrigued and he was more than happy to follow her down the hall into their bedroom. Just as she pushed opened the doors she wrapped a black scarf around his eyes. “Don’t worry…” She purred. “You’ll like it.” With that, she led him into their bedroom.
“Mio…”
Suddenly, the blindfold came off and Wataru was treated to the sight of a painting of him and Mio as King and Queen. It was… beautiful and it stole his breath away.
“Do you like it?” She asked. “I called in a favor. There was this traitor Fangire… I told him he could live if he did this for me.”
“It’s gorgeous.” Wataru gave Mio a kiss. “Absolutely gorgeous.”
“Good.” Mio smiled. “Because I have one more present for you.”
“Now, I’m curious.” Wataru shrugged off his coat and pulled her close. “But first…”
She pressed a finger to his lips. “Nuh-uh. Not yet. Let me get… undressed.” She slipped free and sashayed into the bathroom, winking as she closed the door.
Wataru couldn’t get out of his clothes fast enough and he crawled into their large bed, waiting for her to come out.
After a moment or two, the door opened to reveal Mio in all of her naked glory, wearing nothing but the necklace, a pair of heels… and then he noticed the tattoo over her heart…
It was the King symbol… and his name.
She’d inked herself.
Repressing a smile, he asked “Another favor?”
“You’d be surprised at the lengths Fangire will go to just to keep themselves safe from my wrath.” She murmured as she strode over to the bed. “But… I had to be a proper Queen to you.” She crawled on the bed slowly, mindful of her heels. Her lips hovered over his forehead as he arched up his body to kiss the tattoo over her heart.
The next sentence was said as she managed to pin him beneath her, a wicked smile on her face. “Happy Valentine’s Day… King.”
If he was about to say anything else, she didn’t quite let him get it out…
