How did you get into fandom, specifically German music RPF? And are you a creeper about it or are you totally nice and sane, and use all the legitimate routes?

Mah first fandom was Digimon which I originally watched because it because I thought it was a rip off of Pokemon.
Once upon a time, I bought a Sony Vaio with my school loans. And Sierra, possessing no computer of any sort, put her music library on my computer. And then we just started sharing music back and forth. One day she showed up at my place, handed me her copy of Scream and said, "He's not a girl". A couple weeks later I really started listening to Tokio Hotel (read: 72 hours straight). A few weeks after that I joined THI, which introduced me to all of the other bands.
Honestly, I'm not that into RPF. Probably because Cinema Bizarre fangirls suck otaku fairy wands and the girls writing for TH aren't always better. Only the more serious writers even liked Panik, which is why I tend to favor it.
All of the creepers I know are of the "I know this so now you know this! Yay!" school of thought, so I don't have to creeper. :3
