It seems that this is such a depressing time of year. I don't know why, but lately I have just been feeling so BLAH. It's all I can do to drag my butt out of bed in the morning. WHY. Earlier today somebody said to me, "you need a vacation." I was like, "What for? I'll just have to come back after it's over." I'm so emo ( Read more... )

I love heroes too! I'm totally glad you like it. It's worth having something to watch on tv every night ;)

I ALMOST wish though that I hadn't learned about heroes until like, april. So I could just watch them all at once and not be frustrated with the waiting.

I've figured out a way to not be annoyed by the waiting: have one show to watch EVERY NIGHT. Yay!

Sunday: Desperate Housewives
Monday: Heroes
Tuesday: SVU
Wednesday: Lost
Thursday: Grey's
Friday & Saturday: Pretend to have a life (really: looking forward to next week's shows)

p.s.

see where it says "full episodes"? You can select desperate housewives.

I admit watching tv on your computer sucks next to watching it on a tv, but sometimes you have no choice.

so is iTunes. It's really not something I understand. I'm sure there's some legal mumbo jumbo, but it's not like we're not watching on ABC as well. And it's not like we wouldn't be paying the $1 or whatever on iTunes. It bugs me. A lot.

i'm glad you found the stitch 'n bitch book so useful! i can't follow directions worth shiz, and even i was able to understand the basic knit and purl. of course, i can't follow directions worth shiz, so making something with a pattern is out of the question. but still. i can knit and purl!

The directions for knit were really straightforward. I haven't moved on to purl yet. There are some really cool patterns in that book though! Maybe someday I will progress to patterns.

i covet almost all of those patterns. so pretty! i'd love to knit myself one of the nice, lean sweaters. i always think of hand knit sweaters as being huge and chunky (just like me!) but they have some nice professional looking ones in there.

I love the look of hand-knit sweaters, but I can't help but think of them as both itchy and hot (temperature-wise).
