More minutes and More Episodes Extended Version in BATTLESTAR in Season 4.5
Eick and Moore have spoken: We are going to get more BSG in 2009...more longer episodes as David Eick has said in SciFi Wire and we'll get more extended episodes in Season 4.5 DVDs, like Ron has said in THIS interview interview.

"Eick told SCI FI Wire that producers have been "able to convince the network to let us air ... long episodes--[to] take single episodes and make them double episodes, ... [and to take] double episodes and make them quadruple episodes."
Eick added: "Our episodes are always ... long, and we're constantly getting into the editing room with 10, 15, sometimes 20 minutes of material that you can't get into an episode." With just a half-season remaining, Eick said, "the story has become so critical in order to realize the arc of the series that we can't just cut stuff out and save it for later or push it 'til next year, the stuff we're used to doing. It's all got to be there.'"
Also, Moore says the eventual DVD release of the final half of the fourth season should include a longer version of an episode he directed, called “The Disquiet That Follows My Soul.”
“We’ll probably do an extended cut of that with a new commentary,” Moore says. “And I imagine we’ll do a new cut of the finale.”
Remember what Ron said about this episode in November:
“On Galactica, things have really begun to fall apart ... and the relationship between President Laura Roslin [Mary McDonnell] and Adm. William Adama [Edward James Olmos] is going to get pretty interesting.”
It seems that The Disquiet That Follow My Soul wil be a pretty interesting A/R episode... Can't wait for the aired version and EXTENDED VERSION!!
David Eick y Ron D Moore han hablado: parece que han convencido a Sci Fi para emitir episodios mas largos en la ultima temporada, tal como Eick ha comentado en Sci Fi Wire, además, según Ron D Moore, habrá version extendida en DVD del episodio que el ha dirigido "The Disquiet that Follow my Soul", (episodio donde la relacion entre A/R será una de las tramas fuertes) además del episodio final.
