After Revelations we have to ask about this topic. Phytia said in her scrolls that a dying leader would lead her/his people to a promised land but he/she wouldn´t see it. All we assumed it was Earth but... Roslin has seen Earth despite that prophecy. Is she the dying Leader? and after see that Earth is devasted, is that means Earth is not the ( Read more... )

If you look at Pythia like a real-world religious text, then it's possible that it's the closest thing to the Divine Word available, without being perfect. If you look at it that way, maybe Pythia was given visions of Laura, and simply assumed that she died. Pythia may have also seen Earth in the same kind of vision that we saw in the second season.

Then again, maybe she's not the dying leader. Alchoholism could be considered a wasting disease, and both Tigh and Starbuck have had that at some point, and now EJO says that Bill will too. Then, there's the possibility I've seen bandied about that the dying leader isn't a person, etc. etc.

Nice comic, BTW

hmmmm I don't know if I'm saying right, but I think that we don't have to believe only on Pythia, may be she is something else, something more than "dying leader", may be prophecy isn't everythin in her live, prophecy is ones but real live is something else , I know what I mean ???? for example Bible says about end of world, but who knows .....
by the way , I love Laura very much :D and sorry for my English (isn't very well but I hope You will understand me :P )

In the prophecies it said that the Dying Leader would not live to see the *Promised Land* Maybe Earth isnt the promised land! FAB COMIC ;-)

maybe it was the promised land... but not now. If Earth was habitable, that would mean it was the promised land that Pythia was meaning.

FRAK!!! and we have to wait 'till 2009 to find out. -_-

Maybe not Earth? altitudeandwine June 22 2008, 14:41:55 UTC
You are right.
This certainly doesn't look like the promised land. Plus Roslin is still alive. (and so is Baltar, and Bill, and Lee, and Zarek, and whoever else leads)

I've been thinking:
it was Gaeta who set the jump coordinates
And it was Gaeta again who confirmed that the constellations were correct ....

Who checked Gaeta?

maybe Gaeta is double dealing?
After Anders shot him in the leg (and Saul made his life miserable after NC) he can't have great love for the Cylons, Final Four or otherwise.

Or maybe he was just too drugged to do it right?

Or maybe this is just one of Roslin's visions...

ignoring the meta - because really, all plausible situations.

this comic is hilarious!!! well executed, nice work. and you got Roslin's dry humor completely. I could totally picture that exchange going down.
