COMMUNITY (3x02) --> I still love Abed and all his maddness but I'm starting of get tired of Jeff and his selfishness.
DEXTER (6x01) --> Refreshing Season 6 premiere with Dexter having fun meanwhile he does his duties. And an intriguing new couple of bad guys. But the question is... Will the writers be bold this season?
DOWNTON ABBEY (2x03) --> It's ( Read more... )

I thought I was the only one having that problem with Downton Abbey. For some reason, I hadn't been enjoying the second season much so far and I realized the other day that its storytelling is different from season 1 and everything is extremely focused on the relationship drama. I do like some of the couples, but even when it comes to them it seems a bit too much for my taste at the moment. Maybe period drama isn't made for me afterall.

no, you're not the only one. I've read criticism around. But mostly about writing... how the simple are some plots, like what is happening with Thomas (Thomas commanding somewhow DA, really?), the story of Mrs. Palmort and his nephew, Edith and the farmers (wtf), etc. And why they showed the biggest drama ever with Anna and Bates in 2x01 and they solved in three episodes (apparently), etc.

I don´t know... maybe I miss some main plot instead 1000 little ones. But still I love the show... there are many things I love from it. Maybe it's the reason why I complain about the things I don´t like of it.

Read your post on the DA comm and it seemed a lot of people were agreeing with it. I think someone had a point when they said that they are probably writing it that way, so Matthew is home in every episode. *lol* I haven't watched the latest episode yet and somehow don't feel the urge to do so. Which sucks, as I really loved the show's first season.

Anyhow, the reason I'm replying to this post again is to say that I checked out Homeland after your recommendation and it really is a fascinating show. Not sure whether they can keep up a good plot, but it has some great characters/actors (Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin, Damian Lewis), who alone make watching worthwhile.

Oh, and as for our conversation regarding Dexter: I keep hoping that Dexter and EJO's character will share screentime soon, because Dexter seems to be looking for religious values this seaoson and EJO's character is said to be a professor of religious studies. *fingers crossed*

DA: Agree... I think it's all timeline fault. It is making the whole story weird and somehow lame, but in season 1 they did the same. Did you realize about the passing of time? I didn´t realize until episode 6, I think. O_O

Homeland: Actually It was TJonesy who recomended it. and so far, so good, no doubt. :)

Dexter: Maybe you're right. If Dexte feel curious about religion maybe he will be realted to "EJO" soon. :)

And the last episode was probably the worst ever. :(
The main plot every week is to show another group fight.
