I KNOW! It's like it's the last season so they don't care what they do. I was pissed, lol. She's a great character, but again, they do little to nothing with her. Do they have to kill every woman that Jack falls in love with?? UGH.

producers say that they had that planned since the beginning of S8 and Renne's death is now his reason of revenge for the rest of the season.

My guess? This show will end with Longan's death too *LOL*
