Recently, while browsing my alma mater's website, I discovered that a number of the factulty that were there when I was there have retired. This is obviously something that happens to everyone, and if I live long enough all of the faculty who were there when I was will eventually retire ( Read more... )

That was a kick! I'm curious about the women in both pictures, though-- they could be the same people, which would suggest some long-term continuity. Are they the partners/wives of your mad professors? Profs themselves?

I don't know anything about the women, but from some other photos i saw of the Extended Vocal Techniques Ensemble it looks like they were just the other members of that group. But I don't recognize them from being in the department, so I'm guessing they we faculty who left pre-2000.
