Once again, I have gone too far between LJ posts and mother has e-mailed me asking me when I will next update... I kept meaning to update - I wanted to tell about my lovely visit with Amy (my sis) and to go over the books which I read over break and even a post talking about The Bunny Hour. Okay, I'm really confused all of a sudden due to the phrase, "Amy's boyfriend." Didn't she used to have a girlfriend? Or am I delusional? Who is Rachel again? Help me, Obi-Wan Trinobi, you're my only hope!

I've had my suitcase--still not unpacked--on the floor of my bedroom since I got back from Vegas, and all three of the cats have taken turns sitting on it. I'm surprised that it's currently vacant, actually, but maybe they got enough of their own stank on it that they are finished with that 'project.'

That was so awesome of your folks to pick you up like that. Speaking of Dayton, that's where we're flying into, whenever David and I make it to Ohio. I'm not sure when that will be, but of course I will let you know once it's in the cards. Apparently I have hordes of future relatives there who are all dying to meet me, so in the midst of trying to remember names (which I am shit at. Faces, yes--names, no), I'd love to take a break & come see you and your kitties instead! :D

Ah, the joys of having a bisexual sister. :-) My sister and Rachel decided to separate about two years ago. They were in the process when I came to visit Amy two summers ago, but didn't tell me because they knew I would be sad and they wanted to enjoy a Happy Trina Visit. And we did. By last summer, they were happily separated (and probably better friends than when they were together) and both dating guys. I met Kyle, Amy's beau, on the summer trip and mom & dad got to meet him when we were all at Amy's for Thanksgiving. We also got to spend an evening with him this trip, too, which was nice. He's a geek, too. Rachel, meanwhile, was excited to learn I was going to visit so made sure she could have some Happy Trina Visit Time while I was in town. And we did ( ... )
