So are we supposed to believe that Stella is the Mother? I remember there being something about a purple umbrella, or a yellow umbrella or something last season. And that it would play a part in his meeting the Mother. It wouldn't bother me if it was her, I just wish they'd tell us who it is. I think 3, 4? years is long enough to drag it out.

I've only been watching HIMYM this season (though I'm almost caught up on S1...) but I also hope it's not Stella. She and Ted just seem to disagree on too many lifestyle things (e.g. New York vs. New Jersey!). But also, I thought their breakup was awfully hard on Ted, and I'm hoping he won't let himself get involved with her again. So maybe Stella will introduce Ted to the eventual mother? Damned if I know.

I think that could be it (that Stella introduces Ted to the real mother). But I hope it happens right away so we can spend next season getting to know and like her. I just hope they don't make the mother some random chick who we meet like one time and then he ends up married to her. That would suck, lol.
