1. Get a bus system map.

2.Enlarge it.

3.Study it.

4. Do not ask anyone else at the bus stop. That's how getting lost happens.

How do people even memorize these things?

If you have a system map, can you even read the damn thing? They make everything SO TINY!

I'd love to get a system map that has a good layout of the transit mall (all the street names and such)

I always wonder why they leave large blank spaces. A bus map that actually synched with city streets would be more useful.

Do you have a smartphone? There are some pretty great Trimet apps out there. I use the Portland Transit app, cost me $2 and I use it 2-3 times a day.

No, I don't have a smartphone.
...It would be great if there was something like that for my TomTom.
