The story behind this fic is... well, it started out as two smaller fics, actually... I was thinking about crossover 'ships after reading a Sam Winchester/River Tam oneshot, and that started me thinking that it was an interesting pairing... oh, and Dawn Summers got mixed into there somewhere, though I'm not sure how. Oh yes, more please... Have to tell you that I've only seen 2 of the shows here - Torchwood and Buffy. The others I only know from reading various crossovers with Torchwood and Doctor Who. Even with that, I had no trouble following anything. It grabbed my interest immediately, and kept it, though I'm sure I'm missing details (like where Dean and Dawn wound up?). Oh, and I love River's perception of Jack. That meeting should be interesting...
