Let's Talk About.... Deadwood

I was introduced to Deadwood recently. My initial reaction was "ooooh, interesting", however it IS an HBO show, and prior experience has taught me that HBO shows appeal to me a lot more often than shows by any other network

It is one of my favourite shows in the history of ever.

Pairing-wise, I ship Calamity Jane/Joanie Stubbs. But mostly I just like seeing damaged people interact with each other in increasingly horrifying ways.
