So I have a problem with going to Whole Foods. I see something and think, "Oh, that would be good with..." and I end up with two bags of groceries. Now, I'm not a "recipe" kind of guy. I'm tempted to make snide comments on this meal, but the last time you experimented with scallops and you cooked them in the bacon fat was damn tasty. So you'll get the benefit of the doubt. Pity you're not as good at stir fry...

You have never had my stir fry. You may live to eat your words, and some tasty stir fry, too.

You pick the meat base (or go the vegetarian route) and we'll see what you think next time you're up.

The bride in me says DUH, of COURSE scallops would go with bacon fat!! Hello, scallop rumakis??

This is what my life is reduced to. Expertise on appetizers.

It sounds good except for the peppers. You really need to get over your use of peppers. It's entirely unnecessary!
