Sooooo.... I was digging around in my Current Writage folder (which is more like Everything Written in the Past Year folder), and came across this. It's, well... utterly without redeeming value. It's pure smut, for one thing, and rather improbable smut, on top of that. No matter how much my fangirl brain, not to mention Jack's, may dream. Le sigh.

Oh. Oh, this is just so lovely. The writing is expressive with great use of metaphors and you have The Doctor and Jack down pat. And the sex scene... God. *dies* Please keep writing these two, this is great!

Oh, my God. I'm so glad you like it! I wrote it a while back, before I'd watched a lot of the later seasons of DW, so I wasn't too sure about characterization. :D And I'm pretty sure there's no way I could *stop* writing these two. They demand it!

I love how you write a hot, detailed sex scene and keep the two of them in character all the while. And of course, I love the Doctor being...beguiled...by Jack.

Oooo, totally hot. I so want to know what happens...

Does Jack wake up the next day wondering if it was all a dream, and the Doctor surprises him with affection at the Tardis console? Does the Doctor slip away that night, pretending everything's normal for weeks on end, until suddenly surprising Jack with a trip to the planet of Remote Trysting Areas?

These things worry at my brain, as well. I can totally see the Doctor being all, "Huh, okay, whatever, moving on," or just glomping Jack like a crazy person afterward. I don't know if I'll continue on with this story (although it's absolutely possible) but I know I won't be able to kick my Jack/Ten bug anytime soon. :D

It might be smut but it's eloquent smut. Very in character to have the Doctor not immediately fall for Jack's charms.

God god, that was astounding. I've been reading loads of slash lately but this is just so well done. Barely any conversation to start, and Jack's doubts, and... well, hot as hell too. Just great.
