Alright, so today, I got to go back out to the farm after two weeks of being away. In case you didn't know, Bullet, my lovely Shetland, passed away due to colic mixed with something stuck in his throat this past May. I don't think I ever said "I'm sorry" about the loss of Bullet. Between what's going on with the cancer and everything, my mind has been wondering to all sorts of places. So here's a hug! *virtual hug!* ^__ ( ... )

The good thing about Topanga is she is a bit smaller. Since working with two ponies for so long, I think that's what I want to have when I live by myself. But I always advise people not to overlook her because of that. One girl ignored her when she first came to the farm. I saw that and knowing that Topanga remembers things like that and would not like the girl later, told the girl not to go near her to work with her unless I was there (I wasn't her foster mother at the time). Well, she calls me and Miss Lisa, another woman working with the rescue horses, and it turns out that Topanga, whose feet didn't feel good and couldn't walk too much (and still has issues with them), literally reared up and kicked out at the girl, luckily not hurting her, when she tried to brush her. She was like, "Is she sick? Why'd she act like that?" I told the girl straight up, "Nothing is wrong. She just doesn't like you. Remember how you treated her before?"
