to me both the book and movie blows, it was just written to capitalize on the whole asain women stereo type, don't want to burst your bubble but the book is not that accurate.

I don't think it's supposed to be accurate. I loved the prose.

I think the prose was vibrant. Although the love angle was more of an Amon-Robin kind of thing. I dunno. Anyway. I loved it.

adik din ako sa book smells... gusto ko yung musty na parang nakaimbak na matagal sa baul...pero masaya din yung crispy yung pahina tapos acrid smelling, yung amoy ng glue sa binding hehe adikk
