Raven had rested in her room at the dorms for a short time until she felt strong enough to make the walk back to the campsite. The healing had taken a lot of out of her, and the pain was still working its way out of her system, but she didn't care. Tara hadn't had a chance to ask Raven about her reaction on the girlfriend question during the Reserves meeting Wednesday, so she was paying a nosy friendly visit today.

But before she could, she was struck by an aura all but reeking of joy and triumph. "Raven?" she called through the modded screen door. "Hi! Can I come in?"

It was, she felt, slightly more polite than it would be to start with by-the-way-I-read-your-aura.

Raven looked to the door and beamed at Tara. "Of course, of course, come in," she said, sitting up on the couch. "Is it not a beautiful day today?"

"It's really nice outside," Tara agreed. "Warm, sunny ... feels like summer. You seem happy about it."

"Please, sit down if you like," Raven said, waving one hand to the couch and the other chairs in the common area. "Or are you looking for someone? I can see if they are here or at class or elsewhere. And yes, the weather is very pleasant, but that is not why I am so happy. I have done a wondrous thing today. Can I get you something to drink?"

Apparently, giddiness made her babble, just a little.
