does it seem at ease in the confines of the lawn? if so, then it must have been a pet. otherwise i don't think these birds would stay in a confined space for so long.

also, the bird may die if it eats bugs covered in insecticide.

maybe you want to call the zoo? unless its becoming quite nice to have around?

yeah, i'm quite sure it is a pet. it seems quite accustomed to humans and the confines of the lawn.

we have given it rice and fruit to eat apart from whatever bugs that are in the garden (don't think they are covered in insecticide..should be fine)

unless my mom decides to keep it, i think we'll probably call jurong bird park or the AVA. jurong bird park doesnt keep any of these birds though (and the bird is said to languish when alone) and AVA will probably put it down :(

oh dear!

what about the zoo? someone had their exotic bird sent to the zoo to be part of their collection. i suppose there are no current collection of guinea hens?

you may want to go to the aquarium to buy it some crickets to munch on. birds are need proteins too.

maybe you can put up missing bird found posters nearby. it doesn't fly right? so can't have come from that far.
