[There is a kitten in his arms. She looks a bit like
this.]
Her name is Elateia or Ella. She is a maine coon, it looks like. Her ears remind me a little bit of Bubastis.
[Pet, pet. "Meow."]
I'd forgotten how much I missed having a cat around. Thank you.

In the interest of fair disclosure: I'm not affected by the flood. The only information I've shared so far are those tidbits that are either plainly obvious or have been revealed in some form or another in the past.

Except for my warden and one other person, perhaps two, I can tell you that no one on this ship knows anything about me, aside from what I want them to know.
I can also tell you that while I dislike this place, I have no plans on graduating. However, neither do I intend to waste anytime by growing bored.

On that, we're agreed. Due to some recent developments, I've begun looking into escape scenarios. Of course, to get anywhere with that, one must first identify where others have failed.

Martha Jones is my warden.
I've been doing the same, in regards to escape scenarios. It's why I volunteered to work in the library, so that I would have time to read and learn as much as possible, and why I've offered to assist T'Pol in the lab. Some access, however rudimentary, to the materials necessary seemed like a wise choice.
I'm interested in the science from Martha's world, to be honest. I haven't been here long enough to see the failed plans of others, but we have had one apparently successful escape, though we don't know the true consequences of the Master's sudden departure. Regardless, it's something I've kept in mind.
However, escape is a long way off, if we are to remain realistic.
In the meanwhile, I've worked on gaining some useful allies. You have done the same. Names need not be mentioned here. [He knows obviously Ana, and McCullen, he suspects, but other people as well. ( ... )

Awww, she's pretty. I'm glad she arrived. Why Elateia?

She is, isn't she? [Also, he totally talks to her -- not in a girly voice -- but he totally talks to her like he would a person so he won't mock Martha for the cutesy, girly voice.]
I named her after an ancient Greek city. Elateia has an interesting history and a few artifacts and temples that I thought fitting.

I'm glad you like her, Adrian, I was worried.
Any questions or anything you need to ask me?

I'm not going to take advantage of the flood with you, though, so no worries.
