Titanic. This is one of those movies that I just can't look away from. If I see it on TV, I HAVE to sit down and finish it, no questions asked. And we all know how damn long this movie is. Titanic is such a haunting film, whether it's because of the sweeping orchestra or the beautiful cinematic shots. Plus, Leonardo's hot. What else could you ask for?
"Iron Man." That's kind of catchy. It's got a nice ring to it."
Iron Man. Plain and simple, this is a bad ass film with bad ass music and bad ass visuals. I'm a sucker for the heroics, especially if they're done by a man as drop dead gorgeous as Tony Stark. Tony Stark almost as hot as Batman, and that leads us to ...
"Gotham needs a hero with a face."
The Dark Knight. BATMAN NEEDS TO BE IN MY BED RIGHT NOW. UNF. Okay, so it's no secret that I have a thing for the dark, brooding hero types, and Batman has this down to a tee. But as much as I adore my Gotham Knight, I've got to say that Heath Leadger stole the film and made it his. He took The Joker and made him this dark, twisted, and yet still somehow hilarious character. All in all, the entire cast was amazing, and I'd be lying if I said Harvey Dent's downfall didn't break my heart.
"I don't need you anymore! All my life you made believe I was only worth what someone would pay for me! But Christian loves me. He loves me! He loves me, Harold. And that is worth everything!"
Moulin Rouge. It's also a well-known fact that I have a thing for the doomed romances. We know right from the very beginning that Satine and Christian will probably never work, but we root for them relentlessly throughout the entire film. This is another one of those gorgeous films with an added bonus of even better music and amazing actors. The soundtrack is probably one of the most played in my iTunes.
"Don't you get it? You're just a toy, Sebastian. A little toy I like to play with. And now you've completely blown it with her. I think it's the saddest thing I've ever heard. Tastes good. So, I assume you've come here to make arrangements. But unfortunately, I don't fuck losers."
Cruel Intentions. This will probably be my favorite movie forever. I've loved it since I first saw it, and it's still the movie I reach for the most when I have time to sit down and watch something. Again, here's a doomed couple that you want so desperately to work out, but everything is working against them. Kathryn is by far my favorite character, even if she is a relentless bitch who takes pleasure in hurting others.
