Crazy French people

Once while giving a test, my crazy bio prof was settling in at my table to do some correcting while we all wrote and he leans over to me and goes (in french) "Ah yes, my favourite song to listen to while giving a test... 'Da Torture Never Ends ( Read more... )

That's amazing. I can totally hear that too, such a funny accent. Reminds me of my theory prof. He's a total Francophone and didn't speak any English till he came here two or three years ago. He also has three young kids who obviously are learning English and watch English tv. So he uses all kinds of random English expressions and quotes from tv that he hears from his kids. Right now his big one is asking a rhetorical question like 'Zo, if we move dis 'ere can we do dis?' or 'Can we fix dis problem?' and then he answers himself with 'Yes we can!' from Bob the Builder.

That's really funny. I should start doing that with french children's shows to further amuse my class mates.

THEY are hilarious in english.
