And Sign-ups are now closed. We have a total of 169 accounts participating. Requests have been revealed and the collection is now open for gifts (for those that already started). Due to the amount of participants pinch hits will be done by google groups. Details for that to come later ( Read more... )

I've never done an exchange before and I'm really confused now. I thought we were automatically assigned a prompt -- but from that request list it looks like we have to pick one ourselves?

Some people like to make extra gifts for people other than who they are assigned to. I revealed sign ups so that those people could start work early. You will get an email sometime in the next few days with your assignment.

If we want to make an extra gift for someone, do we just upload our fic normally on AO3, add it to the trickortreat2014 collection and gift it to the person in question, or how does that work? And will those extra gifts also only be revealed on October 31st?
