My garbage disposal was replaced, since it stopped working properly and it was old.

My furnace is still not working quite right, so I'm seriously considering having the whole damn thing replaced, since its also old and inefficient. That will cost about 5K.

We replaced the boiler here when we moved in and as you say- pricey!
