My brain-lover - the guy who writes this blog but whom I've never met - is turning 31 on Thursday and has issued an open invitation for people to meet him in the pub:

Good suggestion; I shall compose one now:

'Hi, we've never met but I read your blog and that makes me feel like I know you. Your brain is totally hot. I'd like to come to your birthday pub outing but I'm out of the country at the moment; fancy a drink when I get back?'

On the one hand, he could send a friendly affirmative reply. On the other hand, I could have a restraining order slapped on me at border control. ;-) Meh, what the hell. Off I go to send it. :-D
