Yipe, I say as long as it comes out looking like it should, do it however you please. :) Even if that means knitting with your feet! lol :p j/k

How odd. And how scary to be approached on the bus by a total lunatic.

Nice that someone stood up for you. Always good to have a knight in shining armor. :)

Starting a new pair of socks. Need a suggestion for a simple lace pattern that I can run up the foot. Got any suggestions?

I've had strangers on the bus tell me I should learn Continental, because it is so much faster, but nobody ever try to grab my knitting to school me. Ew.

I've had rather sweet looking elderly ladies gently and politely inform me that I'm twisting my purls, and ask if I'd like to learn a different purl method.

I've decided the woman involved in this whole mess is a bit... unique. I've since witnessed incidents of her berating people for their reading material and their choice of music (apparently she'll look at your iPod display to see what you're listening to).

I happily avoid sitting anywhere near her. :)
