QT often have a media figure, who isn't linked to politics, on the panel. They are rarely as well-educated and erudite as Bonnie Greer.

That aside, I agree 100%. The mob mentality and public bullying of Griffin made a mockery of one of the few credible programmes the BBC produces.

Oh yeah, and I think that's a good thing, because it gives a reality check to the politicians who can often degenerate into 'political' fighting without getting to the root of the problem.

But Bonnie Greer admitted she didn't know anything about politics, and she never actually said anything particularly substantive about Griffin or the BNP, just vague remarks about rascism, etc. with biting comments aimed at NG, and I don't think she (could have) brought much to this particular table

Well said. I havent seen it but I'm horrified by what I've heard from you and others. It's typical "this is what a REAL racist looks like, lets laugh at how stupid he is so we never have to question our own role in white supremacy" behaviour. Doesnt help anyone, makes people sympathetic, will hurt people in oppressed groups. The BBC acting like this is like how the day after the programme, the Express and the Sun started taking the PISS out of Griffin to try and distance themselves from him, even though they're both so islamophobic most of the time its a fucking joke.
