Ryan moved stealthily through the woods. Having lived there for the past few years it came almost naturally now. He'd had to knock out two outer sentries already as he drew closer to the compound. Exactly what he was going to do to rescue Sal and his baby he really wasn't sure. He was certain it had something to do with knocking alot of heads

And then, off to the side there were voices much closer. She motioned the girls closer and peered around a tree. Lex stood facing a blonde man with his back to her. He looked somehow familiar. Lex, you idiot! She fumed. Leave it to him to be standing around in a forest occupied by the Chosen having a conversation with someone.

She motioned for Patsy and Cloe to see if they could catch sight of who the other man was.

Cloe looked at Ryan. "Uh, can you please let go of my wrist, you're kinda of hurting me Ryan." His hands were cold.

May wanted to hug Ryan too, but he looked a bit overwhelmed with the two girls engulfing him in enthusiastic bear hugs. They weren't little girls by any means anymore. She would have laughed but she wasn't about to forget exactly where they were and what it was they were doing out there in the woods. But she did allow herself a short smile. "Wow, it's great to see you, Ryan." she said. "Everyone's going to be so surprised to see you." Especially Salene. She looked around, but didn't see any suspicious movements in the leaves or trees that would suggest a Chosen spying on them. Still that didn't meant there wasn't one.

Cloe didn't let go of Ryan. SHe smiled at Patsy. They'd be together again.
