I hate when the cover art doesn't match the characters. Ugh.
I really need to get started on the Hunger Games (though will probably wait until comps are over). I only own the first book though, and the hold list on the other two at the library is sitting at around 70.

Well if you can wait, read If I Stay. It is so incredibly moving and beautifully written that it jumped to my top ten list of YA fiction. It will make you sob but it is just so ... BEAUTIFUL!

Added it to my holds list at the library - thanks!
Have you read Tomorrow All Will Be Beautiful? I just saw it mentioned somewhere today, and my library doesn't have it in their collection, and I was hoping to stumble across someone who has read it to find out more about it.

The birder in me is curious about the hunger games series, because all the others have bird titles....they worth reading? What are they about, anyway?

The imagery of birds is incredibly important throughout each book but because this series is set in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic future, the birds are not anything you'd immediately recognize.

Dystopian post-apocalyptic future? But those are my favorite!

Hah, I think you'd definitely enjoy the series, especially next to your normal fiction choices. Give it a try!
